The Agri-Fab 45-0365 Walk Behind Spike Aerator has a working depth of up to 2.5 inches, this 16 inch wide model consists of five spike wheels, and can be weighted with standard concrete blocks for deep aeration.

The spike wheels are 7 inches in diameter, and this model is ideal for use from early spring though to autumn. Spike aerators are suitable for loamy soils and use a series of rotating star shaped tines that slice into the soil to allow seed, fertilizer, water, air, light and nutrients to reach the grass roots.
