Home Weather station Weather Eye Indoor Outdoor has a indoor unit plus outdoor sensor for accurate temperature measurement. Indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. Temperature alert alarm. It main function are:

    Detailed Functionality of the home weather station

     Power-On or Reset
    1. When switched on or reset (by inserting batteries), the LCD display activates for 3 seconds and after the “Beep”, it begins measuring indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. The unit then enters the RF (Radio
    Frequency) state, where it receives data from the remote sensor and RCC (Radio-Controlled Clock) receiving state at the same time. The unit will automatically exit the RCC receiving state after 10 minutes or you can exit
    manually by pressing the “DOWN” key at any time.
    2. When switched on the calendar defaults to 0:00:00 January 1, 2007 and the Alarm defaults to 0:00.
    3. When switched on the weather icon defaults to sunny intervals.

    Function Key Operation
    1. Key functions There are twelve function keys on the main console:
    FRONT – Time Set, Alarm, Up, Down, Location and Snooze.
    BACK – History, Channel, ?, ?, Alert and MAX/MIN.
    TIME SET Key: Hold the “TIME SET” key for 2 seconds to enter into time setting mode. As each time element flashes, press the “UP” or “DOWN” keys to choose the value needed and then press the “TIME SET” key to confirm the setting.
    If there is no operation for more than 7 seconds, the unit will return to standard mode automatically.
    ALARM Key Click the “Alarm” key to display alarm time, press once to display AL1; twice for AL2; three times to return to standard screen.
    Hold the “Alarm” key for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting in the sequence: AL1/ AL2> Hour> Minute> Exit.
    If there is no operation for more than 7 seconds, the unit will return to standard mode automatically.
    UP Key
    In setting mode, click the “UP” Key to adjust one step (forward). Holding the “UP” Key for 2 seconds will rapidly advance the reading (8 steps/seconds).
    DOWN Key
    In setting mode, click the “DOWN” Key to adjust one step (backward). Holding the “DOWN” Key for 2 seconds
    will rapidly advance the reading (8 steps/seconds).
    In standard mode, Click “DOWN” Key to turn alarm on or off, the setting sequence is: AL1 on/ AL2 off> AL2
    on/ AL1 off> AL1, AL2 on> AL1, AL2 off.
    In standard mode, hold the “DOWN” Key for 2 seconds to enter RCC receiving state. When receiving, click the
    “DOWN” key to exit.
    SNOOZE Key
    When the alarm sounds, press the “SNOOZE” key to stop the alarm for 5 minutes.
    LOCATION Key
    In standard mode, hold the “LOCATION” key for 2 seconds to enter city setting mode.
    Press the “UP” or “DOWN” key to choose the city, and then click the “LOCATION” key to confirm and exit.
    CHANNEL Key
    In standard mode, click the “Channel” key to select RF channel, CH1> CH2> CH3> in sequence.
    In standard mode, hold the “Channel” Key for 2 seconds to cancel RF registering state, temperature displays
    and MAX/MIN value. In Alert setting channel mode, choose the required setting channel.
    MAX/MIN Key
    Press “Max/Min” key to display MAX value of indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity for 5 seconds. Press again to display the MIN values for 5 seconds, click again to return to standard mode. Whilst displaying the Max or Min values, hold Max/Min key for 2 seconds to clear the saved values and then return to standard display.
    ALERT Key
    In standard mode, press Alert key to turn temperature alert on/off. In standard mode, hold Alert key for 2 seconds, it will enter temperature alert setting mode. Under temperature alert setting mode, click Alert key to confirm the setting of channel> Max Temperature> Min Temperature.
    ?Key Under standard mode, click ? to choose the unit of air pressure: Hpa/Mb or inHg. Under setting mode, click once to go forward one step/second, hold for 2 seconds to go forward 8 steps/second.
    ?Key In standard mode, click to choose the unit of temperature in either °C/°F. In setting mode, click to go backward one step, hold for 2 seconds to go backward 8 steps/second.
    HISTORY Key
    In standard mode, click to check the air pressure record for the past 12 hours. Hold for 2 seconds to enter air pressure icon setting mode. RF (Radio Frequency) Receiving Mode
    1. After power-on and detecting temperature, humidity and air pressure, the weather station enters RCC receiving state for 3 minutes. In standard mode, hold the CH button for 3 seconds to enter RF receiving mode.
    If there is no new effective signal from the sensor in 60 minutes, the outdoor temperature of that CH will display “----”.
    2. The outdoor temperature will display a value when the main unit detects and receives a signal from the displayed channel.
    3. Hold “CHANNEL” to display in the order CH1-->CH2-->CH3-->auto recycling (displays each for 5 seconds).
    RCC (Radio Controlled Clock) Receiving Mode
    1. RCC receiving:
    (1) The unit enters receiving state for 3 minutes after power-on or reset.
    (2) Every morning the unit will receive a time update at AM3:00, AM4:00, AM5:00, AM6:00 (If it has already received the update that day, it will resume receiving on the following day)
    (3) Hold“DOWN”button for 2 seconds to enter manual mode. 2. RCC receiving icon:
    (1) When the RCC reception has been lost or has not yet received the signal, the RCC “tower” symbol will flash.
    (2) When signal reception is complete, the whole RCC receiving icon will display.
    (3) When signal reception is NOT complete, the tower of RCC symbol will disappear and the unit will exit RCC receiving mode and will resume on the following day.
    3. RCC receiving takes 7 minutes.
    4. When receiving the DST (Daylight Saving Time) signal, the DST symbol will be displayed on the LCD.
    5. If the alarm rings during receiving state of the RCC signal, it will exit receiving first and then enter the RCC receiving mode again after ringing.
    6. Whilst receiving, hold “DOWN” key 2 seconds to stop the RCC reception.
    TIME MODE
    1. The default time after power-on is 2007.1.1, 0:00:00, the range of the perpetual calendar is 2000-2099.
    2. Under standard mode, hold “TIME SET” key for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode.
    3. Under setting mode, press “UP” or “DOWN” key to adjust the data of items to be set, click “TIME SET” to confirm the data.
    4. Under setting mode, the items being set will flash, the setting sequence is: year> month> date> language>
    12/24HR format> hour> minute> exit.
    5. If there are no keys pressed after 7 seconds, it will exit the setting mode, but the items set will be kept.
    ALARM ALERT MODE
    1. Under standard mode, click “ALARM” to view the Alarm time, the sequence: AL1> AL2> Normal.
    2. Under standard mode, click “UP” key to switch the alarm ON/OFF, the sequence: AL1 ON, AL2 OFF> AL1
    OFF, AL2 ON> AL1 ON, AL2 ON> AL1 OFF, AL2 OFF.
    3. Under ALARM time displaying mode, hold “ALARM” key for 2 seconds to enter ALARM setting mode. The setting sequence: AL1/AL2> hour setting> minute setting> exit setting mode.
    4. During setting, click “UP” or “DOWN” key to adjust the items to be set, and click “ALARM” key to confirm the items.
    5. If there is no effective operation on the key after 8 seconds, it will exit the setting mode, but the settings will be saved. The effective keys include “ALARM”, “UP”, “DOWN”.
    6. Alarm rings for 2 minutes in total. Alarm format is:
    (1) 0~10 seconds: one Beep/second;
    (2) 10~20 seconds: two Beeps/second;
    (3) 20~30 seconds, three Beeps/second;
    (4) After 30 seconds, continuous Beeping.
    CITY SETTING
    1. Under standard mode, hold “LOCATION” key for 2 seconds to enter location setting and choose the city you are closest to (there are 160 European cities for selection).
    2. Click “UP” or “DOWN” to choose, and click “LOCATION” key to confirm.
    SUNRISE / SUNSET, MOON PHASE AND TIDE
    1. The unit will calculate automatically the sunrise/sunset times of the selected city.
    2. It will calculate moon phase and tide ebb/ flux every day according to the calendar. There are 8 states of moon phase and 3 steps (H, M, L) of tide in all.
    THERMOMETER AND HYGROMETER
    1. The indoor temperature range: 0°C-50°C (32°F-122°F), and the indoor temperature range: 50°C-70°C (-5.8°F-158°F).
    2. Humidity range: 20%-95%.
    AIR PRESSURE AND WEATHER REPORT MODE
    1. Selectable air pressure units: Hpa/Mb or inHg.
    2. Record the air pressure data of past 12 hours.
    3. The chart compares the data of sampling air pressure with that of last time every two hours, if the change is more than 2Hpa, the arrow of air pressure will change.
    4. The comparison of air pressure creates a trend which then display the weather forecast for the next 4-6
    hours ahead. There are 5 weather states: Sunny, sunny intervals, Cloudy, Rainy, Thunderstorm.
    Temperature Alert Mode
    1. Click “ALERT” key to switch temperature alert on/off. The 2 alert arrows will display on the LCD when the temperature alert is switched on.
    2. Hold “Alert” for 2 seconds to enter temperature alert setting. Click “CHANNEL” Key to choose the setting channel> confirm the channel and click “UP” and “DOWN” Key to set the maximum of the temp.> Confirm the maximum and click“?” or “?”Key to set the minimum temp.> Confirm and exit.
    3. During the setting, the items and relative symbols flash.
    4. During setting, if left without instruction, it will exit the setting state. Hold the “UP” or “DOWN” Key for more than 2 seconds for quicker cycling through the temperature.
    5. The default values for temperature alert are 50°C (Max) and 0°C (Min) for the indoor sensor, and 70°C (Max) and -50°C (Min) for RF (outdoor) sensor.
    6. The minimum of alert temperature should be 1 °C lower than the maximum.
    7. When the temperature alert of that channel is triggered, the temperature value and alert icon will flash. Only the alert icon flashes if the alert is detected on a different channel.
    8. Under the alert state, click any key to cancel the alert. Click “Alert” key to switch off the alert. When the temperature alert and the time alarm coincide, the alarm will take priority.
    9. When the temperature alert is sounding, the corresponding temperature values and alert icons will flash.
    10. The sound of temperature alert: 4 Beeps per second for 5 seconds and then silent for 55 seconds. It will
    repeat automatically until the alert is stopped or the temperature changes outside of the alert temperature set.
    11. Press any key to stop the temperature alert.
